Jane Haddad is the owner and artist behind J.W.H. Designs. Her passion for stones began more than 40 years ago, inspired by her early studies in geology at Queen’s University. After a long career as a professor, Jane returned to her original love of working with natural materials.
Today, she creates jewellery using semi-precious gemstones, glass beads, sterling silver and stainless-steel wire. Her work combines her knowledge of the natural world with her creativity, celebrating the beauty, history, and meaning found in stones.
Through her designs, Jane invites people to appreciate gemstones for their beauty, history, and connection to the earth, while making each piece a reflection of their own personal expression.
