J.W.H. Designs is a jewellery brand rooted in symbolism, storytelling, and the energetic qualities of gemstones. Each piece is intentionally designed to reflect personal meaning, life transitions, and individual expression.
2. What materials are used in your jewellery?
Our pieces feature carefully selected natural gemstones (unless otherwise indicated in the description), mostly set in other stones, such as beach pebbles, or finished with stainless steel. The Crystal Centered pendants are encased in a polished epoxy resin to protect the stones while enhancing their depth and colour. The tube beads are coated with Rhodium plating. Each material is chosen for both durability and aesthetic integrity.
3. Where do you source your materials?
I try to source all materials locally whenever possible. See the product descriptions for details on where the materials are mined and how they are formed. All gemstones are natural unless otherwise indicated.
4. Are your gemstones natural?
Yes. We use genuine, natural gemstones (unless otherwise indicated in the description). Because they are formed in nature, variations in colour, inclusions, and pattern are expected and make each piece unique.
5. What do the gemstones represent?
Each gemstone carries traditional symbolism and energetic associations developed over centuries across various cultures. These meanings are shared as guidance and inspiration, allowing you to select pieces that align with your intentions, emotions, or milestones.

7. Do you offer custom designs?
Yes! custom orders are accepted. We make limited editions for events such as wedding parties, yoga retreats and charitable fundraisers. Please contact Jane at J.W.H. Designs directly to discuss your concept and timeline.
8. Can I visit your studio?
No, my studio is not open to the public. However, you can find our jewelry online or at select local markets and events in Toronto and Huntsville, ON.
9. What is your shipping policy?
We offer free shipping within Canada when your purchase is $100.00 or more. Shipping costs and delivery times vary depending on location. Please refer to the shipping information provided during checkout.
10. How should I care for my jewellery?
To maintain longevity:
a. Avoid prolonged exposure to water, perfume, lotions and chemicals
b. Remove before swimming or showering
c. Store separately to prevent scratching
d. Wipe gently with a soft cloth after wear
e. Clean eyeglass holders by soaking in a solution of mild dish soap and warm water for one hour every few weeks. Agitate gently to loosen any debris.
Proper care preserves both the metal finish and gemstone clarity, increasing the longevity of the piece.
11. Do you accept returns or exchanges?
We have a no return policy due to the handcrafted nature of the products. Please ensure you are satisfied with the product prior to ordering. Please refer to the store’s return policy for details found under Terms and Conditions.
12. How long will my order take?
Shipping usually occurs within two business days, however, processing times vary depending on inventory and order volume. You will receive confirmation and tracking information once your order has shipped.
13. Do you offer gift packaging?
Yes. Each piece is thoughtfully packaged, making it suitable for gifting. If you are sending directly to someone, you may request a gift note at checkout.
14. Are your designs limited edition?
All pieces are produced in small batches due to the natural variation and availability of gemstones. This ensures each design remains distinctive and personal.
